Coconut fibre is a natural fibre extracted from the husk of coconut, which is also known as coir fibre found between the hard-internal shell and the outer skin of the coconut. Coir fibre is seen as a by-product when extracting the fruit flesh from the coconut, which is used to produce milk, oil and flour. The coir has a low demand which results in the fibre being very cheap to purchase.
Coconut fibre is a plant-based product, which means it is natural, biodegradable and environmentally friendly, unlike other similar products.
”Thus, without trees, there would be no living organisms. Therefore, instead of cutting down new trees to make products, products should be made from the by-products of the initial material harvesting process.
If people started planting trees and use biproducts instead of generating waste, this world would be more prosperous.”
